OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP
General Manager- Shane Wilson
Shane has been with Gowanda EMS since 2016. Shane is a paramedic with our agency. Shane is also an AHA Instructor and can be found teaching different AHA programs in his spare time.
As the GM, Shane is responsible for all administrative and operational aspects of the Ambulance Service. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors; Shane supervises the Management Team and is responsible to oversee the growth and development of our agency.
Operations Manager- Steve Pomeroy
Steve Pomeroy has been a paramedic with Gowanda Ambulance since the spring of 2016. Steve came to Gowanda Ambulance with years of experience in both high volume urban and rural service areas. Steve was promoted to the position of Operations Manager in 2019.
As the Operations Manager, Steve is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our equipment and staff. Steve is responsible for scheduling, preliminary interviewing, and training of our staff.
Assistant Manager – Tom Gullickson
Tom has been with Gowanda Ambulance Service as a paramedic since the beginning of 2016. Tom comes to Gowanda EMS with past experience as a paramedic in higher volume areas and as his volunteer fire department’s financial secretary. Tom has also served his local communities as a Fire LT, Fire Captain, EMS Captain, and Currently Asst. Fire Chief.
As the Assistant Manager, Tom is responsible for assisting the Chief with ordering, some accounts receivable duties, and budgetary duties, he is also responsible for crew supervision.
